Sharing details of the film’s screen count, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,

‘Thugs of Hindostan’ will release on 5000 screens in India combining the Hindi, Telegu and Tamil screenings. Overseas it shall be released across 2000 screens. The Aamir Khan starrer has broken the record held by Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ that released on 4,600 screens across India. However, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ failed to match ‘Baahubali 2’s screen count, which was allotted 6,500 screens (including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam) across India. ‘Baahubali 2’ still remains the biggest Indian release ever.
