Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024 took place in Mumbai on February 20. Many Bollywood celebs including Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, and others attended the event in style. Shah Rukh Khan wins Best Actor: Shah Rukh Khan was awarded as the Best Actor for his performance in ‘Jawan’ at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024. During his acceptance speech, he said, “I thank the jury who considered me worthy of the Best Actor award. I haven’t been given the Best Actor Award in a long time. It seemed as if I would not get it again. So, I am extremely happy. I like awards. I am a bit greedy.” Furthermore, he thanked his Jawan director Atlee, and co-stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, singer-songwriter Anirudh Ravichander, and others.

The actor added, “I promise I will keep working hard and entertain India and people who are living abroad as many years as I can. Whether it takes me to dance, to fall, to fly, to romance, to be evil, to be a bad guy, to be a good guy. Inshallah, I will keep working hard.”

Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji hug each other: SRK and Rani posed together on the red carpet of the Dadasaheb Phalke International Awards. The actors twinned in black outfits. While SRK looked dapper in a suit, Rani looked ravishing in a saree. SRK and Rani have worked in some of the hit films including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Chalte Chalte, Veer-Zara, and others.

Kareena Kapoor Khan ignored Shahid Kapoor? In a video shared by paparazzi on Instagram, Kareena seemingly ignored Shahid as she walked past him at the red carpet. Shahid and Kareena started dating in 2004 and called it quits in 2007. Shahid is now married to Mira Rajput, whereas Kareena is married to Saif Ali Khan.

Nayanthara wins Best Actress award: Nayanthara looked beyond beautiful in a lime green satin saree. She wore statement jewellery to complete her outfit and her black bindi just added the real elegance to her look. She won the Best Actress award for her performance in Jawan. The award was given to her by her co-star Shah Rukh Khan.
