Varun Dhawan's Covid-19 positive result

The Coronavirus pandemic has disrupted everyone’s lives. After lockdown restrictions were uplifted, several films’ shoot resumed. However, despite taking all the precautions, some actors have contracted the deadly virus on the sets of their films.

Recently, Varun Dhawan tested positive for Covid-19 when he kickstarted the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. The actor took to his Instagram handle and confirmed the news. However, when a troll doubted Varun’s diagnosis, the actor hit back with a savage reply.

Varun took to his Instagram handle and informing his diagnosis and wrote, “So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted #covid_19. All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time ?? thank u.”

Soon a troll commented on the actor’s post, “Bhai sahi mein hua hai na? Ya phir yahan bhi normal khaasi ki overacting kar raha hai (Do you actually have it or are you pretending that your normal cough is Covid-19)”

Replying to the troll, Varun wrote, “Wow ur so funny. What an amazing sense of humour you have. I hope you and your family don’t have to suffer through this though they will have to suffer through your sad excuse of humour. Get well soon son.”

Well, that’s how you shut the trolls.

Meanwhile, Varun is gearing up for the release of ‘Coolie No 1’ which is scheduled to release on December 25. The film stars Sara Ali Khan opposite Varun and is a remake of David Dhawan’s film of the same name that released in 1995.
