Twinkle Khanna reacts to Narendra Modi’s joke of venting all her anger on his government

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar took everyone by surprise when he announced that he will be having a completely non-political freewheeling conversation with PM Narendra Modi. Interestingly in the interview, PM Modi mentioned that he not only follows Akshay, but also reads his wife Twinkle Khanna’s posts.

The PM also joked that he is glad to be helpful in maintaining peace in the actor’s life as Twinkle vents all her anger on him and his government. Now Twinkle being the witty women that she is has responded on Mr. Modi’s joke.

Revealing that he regularly follows the actor’s social media handle, Mr. Modi said jokingly,“Main aapka bhi Twitter dekhta hoon aur Twinkle Khanna ji ka Twitter dekhta hoon. Kabhi Kabhi toh mujhe lagta hai ki vo mere upar gussa nikaalti hai Twitter pe, toh uske kaaran aapke parivaarik jeevan mein badi shaanti rehti hogi. Unka pura gussa mujpe nikal jaata hoga isliye aapko araam rehta hoga. Toh is prakaar se main aapke kaam aaya hoon (I keep a tab on your and Twinkle’s handle. I feel that since your wife vents all her anger on me, so that must be helping in maintaining peace in your married life.)”

Now replying to PM Modi’s joke, Twinkle took to her handle and shared that she has a rather positive way at looking at Modi’s joke. Twinkle also said she is glad to know that PM Modi is not only aware of her existence, but also reads her work.

Modi’s joke doesn’t come as a surprise as it’s a known fact that Twinkle has never refrained from criticising him or his government. Interestingly, a Twitter user pointed out how Akshay is pro-Modi while his wife isn’t.
