Aamir Khan is currently in Turkey to wrap up the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha‘. The Mr.Perfectionist actor recently met Turkish First Lady Emine Erdogan during his visit to Istanbul. However, the netizens wasted no time in slamming the actor for doing so. Taking to her Twitter handle, Emine shared a few pictures with Aamir and wrote, “I had the great pleasure of meeting @aamir_khan, the world-renowned Indian actor, filmmaker, and director, in Istanbul. I was happy to learn that Aamir decided to wrap up the shooting of his latest movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in different parts of Turkey. I look forward to it!(sic).”

Now amidst the strained relationship between India and Turkey, netizens weren’t pleased by this move of Aamir. Turkey has openly supported Pakistan on the Kashmir issue especially after Article 370 was scrapped in the valley last year.

Some users even felt that Aamir hasn’t mentioned a single word on his ‘PK’ co-star Sushant Singh Rajput’s death but he can make a video for Chinese people for raising awareness on Covid. They even linked the logic with his movies doing well in China.

Reportedly, Aamir met Emine to discuss his Paani foundation in India.

Coming back to his film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, owing to the Coronavirus scare, it has been pushed to Christmas 2021. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan.
