Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao Look Distressed As Son Azad Cries

The video captures Azad crying as he leaves the pet clinic, with Aamir carrying their pet in a carrier. Both Aamir and Kiran appear visibly upset and distressed. In the clip, Azad is seen wiping tears from his eyes with his T-shirt. Aamir first enters the car with the pet, then Azad follows, and after confirming Azad is inside, Kiran joins them. The family has not disclosed whether the pet was unwell or had passed away.

Aamir Khan-Kiran Rao’s Relationship

Aamir and Kiran met in 2001 on the set of the film Lagaan, where Kiran Rao worked as an assistant director. They married in December 2005 after Aamir’s divorce from his first wife, Reena Dutta. He has two children with Reena—Ira Khan and Junaid Khan. In 2011, Aamir and Kiran welcomed their son, Azad Rao Khan, via surrogacy.

On the professional front, Aamir recently bankrolled Batwara 1947, starring Sunny Deol, which released this Friday. The film received mixed reviews and had an underwhelming opening at the box office, earning Rs 5.45 crore on its first day.
