Varun Dhawan pens emotional note as he mourns death of his driver Manoj: He was my everything

Varun Dhawan lost someone extremely close to him today. His driver Manoj dada, who has been with the actor since 26 years left for his heavenly abode on Tuesday. Manoj dada suffered a heart attack. Mourning his sudden and untimely demise, Varun Dhawan made an emotional post and penned a note, talking about his late driver. The actor mourned the demise of Manoj dada and expressed his grief in an Instagram post. Varun shared a throwback video of him with Manoj dada.

In the note, Dhawan added a broken heart emoji and wrote, “Manoj and has been in my life for the last 26 years. He was my everything. I have no words to express my grief but all I want is people remember him for his amazing wit,humour and passion he had for life . I will always be grateful I had u in my life Manoj dada (folded hands emoji) (sic).”

Varun called Manoj dada his ‘everything’ and expressed his grief. He even said that he will always be grateful that he had Manoj dada in his life.

The Jug Jugg Jeeyo actor shared a throwback video from Madamme Tussauds. The video shows Varun introducing Manoj dada as the person who has always been there by him, for him. Celebrities Bhumi Pednekar, Maniesh Paul, Sophie Choudry, Nupur Sanon, Armaan Malik, Arjun Kapoor and Sanya Malhotra offered condolences.

For the unversed, Varun was clicked outside Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. His driver, Manoj Sahu passed away on Tuesday, after suffering a heart attack. ANI reported that Dhawan was shooting for a project at Bandra’s Mehboob studio when his driver Manoj suffered a heart attack. Manoj was immediately rushed to the hospital and Varun was also seen leaving. The October star was teary-eyed in pictures from outside the hospital.

On the work front, the actor has the film Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Bhediya with Kriti Sanon, and another film with Kiara Advani.
