Varun Dhawan teases fans as he packs up shoot for a ‘secret project’

Varun Dhawan sure does know how to promote himself and his projects. All of his peers in the industry also recognise this talent of his. He is renowned for his marketing and promotional acumen. And he used it yet again last night. Varun Dhawan left his fans wondering about his next project as he teased them with a video after his pack up.

Varun Dhawan packs up a day’s shoot for ‘secret project’

Taking to his Instagram stories, Varun shared a video taking a drive on Bandra-Worli sea link. The picturesque surroundings there were accompanied by the soulful vocals of Atif Aslam on the stereo. The actor is listening to Atif’s Aadat and the music just enhance the vibe of the sea link. Along with the video, Varun wrote, “Pack up… For a secret project (sic)”. The caption left Varun’s fans taking a wild guess on what project is he talking about.

Varun has Citadel India and Bawaal up next

The actor started the month of January by starting work on his web debut, the Indian instalment of Russo Brothers’ Citadel. Raj & DK are helming Citadel India which also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu alongside Varun. The series will stream on Amazon Prime Video. The actor had announced it with a special photo with Raj Nidimoru from a rehearsal hall earlier this month.

Apart from this, Varun Dhawan has some more interesting upcoming films in his lineup. It starts with Nitesh Tiwari directed Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor. It releases in April this year. The actor closed last year with an impressive performance in creature drama Bhediya and is yet to make any more announcements on his upcoming projects.
