7 years after ‘Vicky Donor’, Ayushmann Khurrana and Annu Kapoor reunite for THIS film

Ayushmann Khurrana marked his Bollywood debut with Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Vicky Donor’. The film had a stellar ensemble cast of Yami Gautam, Dolly Ahluwalia, Kamlesh Gill and Jayant Das. Interestingly yesterday this John Abraham production completed 7 years and coincidently on the same day Ayushmann shot with Annu Kapoor for his upcoming film ‘Dream Girl’.

Sharing pictures with the veteran actor from the sets of ‘Dream Girl’, Ayushmann said that it was surreal to shoot with Kapoor on the same day when their film ‘Vicky Donor’ completed 7 years. The actor also revealed that this time Annu Kapoor will be playing his father in ‘Dream Girl’.

In ‘Vicky Donor’, Annu played a fertility expert Dr. Baldev Chaddha who runs a clinic and sperm bank in Delhi. Ayushmann who plays Vicky, in his quest to have a better lifestyle ends up becoming a sperm donor for Chaddha. This Shoojit Sircar film went on to bag three National awards.

Coming back to ‘Dream Girl’, in this film Ayushmann will be playing the titular role. Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film also stars Nushrat Bharucha.

It will be great fun to watch Annu Kapoor and Ayushmann share the screen-space once again. We are looking forward to watching ‘Dream Girl’.
