Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk share a quirky video to announce new movie Bad Newz; slated to release in July

Since morning actors Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk have been confusing the audience with their new movie. Though it was known that they were coming together for an entertaining movie, the title was not revealed. Earlier today, Vicky shared a video along with Triptii and Ammy that they are going to announce one good news and one bad news. Now, it’s finally revealed as the trio announced the title of the new movie. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk in Bad Newz.

They took to their respective Instagram handle and shared a quirky video, giving an idea of what to accept from the movie. In the announcement video, it seems like there’s a love triangle between the three. We see both Vicky and Ammy planting a kiss on Triptii’s cheeks. Moreover, the posters also suggest that it is related to pregnancy, IVF or sperm donation. Nevertheless, it has piqued our interest and we can this movie is going to offer.

The video also mentions that it is from the makers of Good Newwz which starred Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh. We wonder if it’s the sequel of Good Newwz as the posters look quite similar to Raj Mehta’s directorial movie.

In February 2023, filmmaker Karan Johar dropped an official statement regarding the movie. He announced that Vicky and Triptii would be collaborating for the first along with Ammy Virk. Bad Newz is directed by Anand Tiwari and is produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Apart from the posters, they have also revealed the release date which is July 19, 2024.
