That’s a Wrap! Mismatched star Vihaan Samat wraps his next Untitled Cyber-Thriller Film opposite Ananya Panday directed by Vikram Aditya Motwane

You have seen Vihaan Samat and loved his charm in shows like Mismatched, Eternally Confused and Eager For Love and many more. Well, the actor just wrapped his next film in which he will be seen alongside Ananya Panday. This film is a cyber-thriller and is being spearheaded by the ace filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane.

It’s a wrap!

This project is nothing less than a dream come true for Vihaan as he is a huge fan of Vikramaditya, he said, “I’ve been a fan of Vikram Sir since I was a teen, having seen his early films like Udaan, Lootera and Trapped, I knew I would have to figure out a way to work with him one day. “

Talking about bagging this film, Samat recalled, “When I got a call for the audition of this film, it was a no-brainer. I was shooting in Goa and it was a long audition scene, but I got back to my hotel room and got it done over zoom. And luckily, the stars aligned.”

Vihaan said that the script was so interesting, he finished reading it in less than two hours, “The films I do will be a piece of me that I leave behind long after I’m gone. I’ve always wanted to work on projects that push the envelope in some way, whether it is what they speak about, or their narrative style. It was a mix of both. It’s a bold stand and commentary on where society might end up. I remember going to Vikram sir’s office, and reading the entire script in an hour and a half.”

Vihaan will be seen with Bollywood’s budding superstar Ananya Panday in this film, but did you know that Vihaan and Ananya actually go way back as they come from the same school? The actor said, “This was my first time working with Ananya and we actually went to the same school. So it was quite nice to see her in person 8 years after we graduated. She was incredibly warm, collaborative and entertaining. My only complaint was that we didn’t shoot for long enough! The entire schedule was 18 days so you can imagine how efficient we (including the entire unit) had to be!“

Vihaan is excited for the fans to see his new avatar, “All in all, it was a beautiful experience and I can’t wait for everyone to see the magic (and surprise twists and turns) this film will have.”
