Mahima Makwana and Vikrant Massey’s journey has come full circle. After first working together on the television show Balika Vadhu, the duo has reunited for Mussafir Cafe, bringing back years of shared memories. During the trailer launch of the romantic drama, Mahima looked back on meeting Vikrant when she was just 10 years old and praised him for remaining as humble, hardworking, and genuine as ever despite his success. Calling him a “very giving actor” and an incredible collaborator, Mahima’s heartfelt words left Vikrant blushing, prompting him to crack a hilarious joke that had everyone at the event laughing.

Speaking about her co-star from Balika Vadhu to now, Mussafir Cafe, Mahima Makwana said, “I actually met Vikrant when I was ten, when I started my career. Mere career ki shuruaat Balika Vadhu se hui thi, and that’s when I met Vikrant. I have to say that he’s not changed a bit. I still remember him being the kindest, the most hardworking, and I mean it — he’s the most genuine person. Aur mujhe lagta hai ki yeh unke art mein, unke kaam mein reflect karta hai. So, I had a great time working with Vikrant because he’s such an amazing collaborator. He lets you be. He’s a very, very giving actor. Thank you.”

Vikrant joked, “Thank you. Lagta hai paise pahunch gaye.”(Laughs)
