Welcome To The Jungle Teaser Out Now!

One of Bollywood’s most iconic comedy franchises has officially made its comeback with the teaser launch of Welcome To The Jungle. Reprising his popular character Rajeev, Akshay Kumar returns with another dose of chaos, comedy, and over-the-top madness in the third instalment of the Welcome franchise. Helmed by Ahmed Khan, the film is slated for a theatrical release on June 26, 2026. Alongside Akshay, the movie boasts a massive ensemble featuring Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade, and Mika Singh, among others. Ever since the teaser dropped, fans have been celebrating the comeback of the franchise’s signature humour and comic confusion.

Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Akshay confirmed the release date and wrote, “Welcome the madness, Welcome the laughter, Welcome the crazy chaos, Welcome the wildest chapter of the Welcome universe…#WelcomeToTheJungle. #WelcomeToTheJungleTeaser out now! Let the chaos begin from 26th June, 2026 in cinemas.”

Going by the teaser, the upcoming film appears to stay loyal to the franchise’s core formula of slapstick humour, bizarre mix-ups, and nonstop entertainment. The franchise originally began with Welcome, starring Feroz Khan, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Paresh Rawal. Over the years, the film earned cult status and continues to remain a fan-favourite comedy entertainer.

Fans Celebrate Rajeev’s Comeback

Soon after the teaser surfaced online, social media was flooded with enthusiastic reactions. One fan wrote, “Blockbuster hogi sir,” while another commented, “OG Rajeev is back.” A user praised the actor, saying, “East or West, Akshay Kumar sir is the best,” whereas another called him the “King of comedy.” One fan also mentioned, “But Welcome 1st part ko koi beat nahi karsakta iconic.”

Revisiting ‘Welcome Back’

The franchise’s second film, Welcome Back, was released in 2015 and featured John Abraham and Shruti Haasan in lead roles, replacing Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif from the original. Both the first two installments were directed by Anees Bazmee. Meanwhile, We,lcome To The Jungle is directed by Ahmed Khan and stars a huge cast including Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rahul Dev, Daler Mehndi, and Mika Singh in key roles.

The film brings together a formidable ensemble including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and Jackie Shroff. Along with Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johny Lever, and Shreyas Talpade. Additionally, fans will also witness Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Daler Mehndi. In addition to Aftab Shivdasani, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Kiran Kumar, Zakir Hussain, and Vindu Dara Singh. Moreover, Urvashi Rautela, Hemant Pandey, Brijendra Kala, Feroze Khan (Arjun), Late Pankaj Dheer ji, Puneet Issar, Sudesh Berry, Jeetu Verma, Vrihi Kodvara, Adityaa Singgh, and Bhagya Bhanushali will also be sharing the screen with the ensemble cast.
