Will Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani join 100 crore club?

Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone Starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani can be the next film to join the 100 crore club. The opening collection for this movie was Rs 19.45 crores on Friday that went up to Rs 20.16 crore on Saturday,rising further by Sunday upto Rs 22.5 crores .in fact the total collection on weekend was about Rs 62.11 crore.

As per information,Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Monday morning, “#YehJawaaniHaiDeewani collected Rs. 62.11 cr nett in opening weekend. Breakup:- Fri 19.45 cr, Sat 20.16 cr, Sun 22.5 cr. Outstanding!”Overseas too the movie has made a decent collection.

However one wonders if the high turnover is due to the recently hiked prices across multiplexes in big cities .
