It’s World Folklore Day and the audience is all set to witness one of the biggest, ambitious grand theatrical release, The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest, a spectacle that blends fantasy, action, comedy and adventure. Director Arunabh Kumar and Ektaa Kapoor share mutual love and respect for Indian temples and stories, core facets that brings life to the folklore fantasy film wrapped in mystery. “Happy World Folklore Day. It all started with our mutual love for stories and temples…from visiting Sidhivinayak on Jan 1st, to Mukteshwar on Mahashivratri, to Mahakumbh & what not.. and we realised how rich our Indian culture is with so many incredible Folklores which are as much history as mythology… and when I shared her the story of the folklore of Vandevi Temple in Bihta…she immediately said this story needs to be told on the big screen…and went all out in giving it as big a canvas as possible, I feel there could not have been a better partner than EK & @balajimotionpictures for such a story…” writes Arunabh.

“As we celebrate “World folklore day” today, me, Deepak, DVD & everyone at TVF is so excited to bring an Indian Folklore story inspired from Real Temples of India on the big screen…from going to Shakti temple with my Mom & Wife to bringing the story of this Folklore thriller with all spiritual women in my life… I feel truly blessed to unveil Vvaan starring @sidmalhotra @tamannaahspeaks @whosunilgrover @manieshpaul @anupsoni3 and @shweta.tiwari to all of you soon,” he concludes.

The film marks the coming together of Balaji Motion Pictures and TVF Motion Pictures, with Deepak Kumar Mishra directing the project. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead, the film. With its fresh release date now in place and a poster that has heightened curiosity across cinema lovers who cannot wait for this spectacle to hit the big screen!
