Shah Rukh Khan's old TV series

We have always known the Shah Rukh Khan started his career with Television serials like ‘Fauji’ and ‘Circus’. However, what we did not know that one of his earliest stints with camera was one mini-series titled, ‘Ahmaq’ or even ‘Idiot’, back in the year 1992. It was the modern adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novel, ‘The Idiot’, set in the then Mumbai.

The series is based on the life of a prince, who is epileptic, and as a result, is mistaken to be an idiot.

This series made its debut at the New York Film Festival in 1992, and was even aired on Doordarshan, back in 1991, but somehow did not come into limelight for it to be commercially successful or known.

However, now, it will make its debut on big screens, and Shah Rukh himself took to his Twitter account and tweeted this.
