SRK’s ‘Zero’ to clash with ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ on December 21

After the news of clashes of big-budget films at the box office, 2018 can definitely be regarded as the year of clashes. It was just yesterday when we came across the announcement of Sunny Deol’s film ‘Bhaiaji Superhit’ pitting against Arjun Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Namaste England’ on October 19.

And now, a tweet by actor Anupam Kher has confirmed yet another mega-clash as his next film, ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ has got a release date. The film directed by Vijay Gutte will be releasing on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan‘s ‘Zero’, i.e on December 21.

Though the makers of ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ did not declare it officially, Anupam, who plays the titular role, revealed it while interacting with his fans on Twitter.

Looks like, ‘Zero’s might suffer considering the film it is locking horns with, has a veteran and super-talented actor Anupam Kher in it.

Talking about Kher’s film, it is directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte and produced by Sunil Bohra, whereas, ‘Zero’ is helmed by Aanand L. Rai. Besides SRK, Rai’s film also stars Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, R. Madhavan in pivotal roles. Interestingly, the film also has special appearances by many Bollywood biggies including late actress Sridevi.
