Saif Ali Khan Chef

Saif Ali Khan is a name to reckon with after a glorious stint of 24 years in the film industry. The Nawab of Pataudi has done diverse roles and has impressed critics and the moviegoers alike. The actor is remembered for his performances in movies like ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’, ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Hum Tum’ (for this he received a National Award), ‘Omkara’, ‘Race’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ etc. He has a huge fan following, but it looks like luck is not favouring him much because since the past few years Saif has been facing a downfall at the box office.

His last hit film was 2013 release ‘Go Goa Gone’, and after that apart from an average grosser ‘Humshakals’, which was panned by critics, the actor has not given a single hit. It’s not that Saif didn’t experiment with his roles. After ‘Go Goa Gone’, he starred in films like ‘Bullett Raja’ (a massy flick), ‘Humshakals’ (a no-brainer), ‘Happy Ending’ (rom-com), ‘Phantom’ (a fantastic movie which unfortunately failed at the box office), and ‘Rangoon’ (a beautiful love story with a touch of patriotism).

While most of the films mentioned above were really bad, ‘Phantom’ and ‘Rangoon’ surely deserved better appreciation at the box office. However, now Saif is all set to be back in an uber-cool avatar in the film ‘Chef’ which is slated to hit the screens on October 6, 2017. Well, after around four flops and one average grosser in last four years, ‘Chef’ is a very important film for Saif, especially from the box office perspective. The trailer and songs of the film are quite interesting, and it looks like a refreshing film. We hope that this one turns out to be a game-changer for Saif, and gets him back in the league of hits.
