Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s alleged relationship has become the talk of the town. Their love reportedly blossomed when they started working for Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. Not only Ranbir and Alia but also their families have bonded quite well and reportedly, Ranbir’s family has welcomed Alia into their fold with open arms.

Interestingly the ‘Udta Punjab’ actress had a huge crush on Ranbir even before she joined the film industry. Back in 2014 on Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, Alia had expressed her desire to marry Ranbir. Now, an old video (before the release of ‘Sanju’) of the couple has surfaced on the internet where Alia is seen saying that she first met Ranbir when she was just 11-year-old. Yes, she met him when he was assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Black’.

In the video, Alia can be heard saying, “I had to do a photo shoot and had to place my head on his (Ranbir) shoulders. I couldn’t do it because I was too shy. But I think Ranbir has been a very big supporter of my career. When he saw ‘Highway’ then he called me but I have to say that I have always been his loyalist ever since ‘Saawariya’ and it never changed after that.”

When asked about Ranbir’s best role till date, Alia said, “His best role is still to come in Raju Hirani’s film (she was hinting at ‘Sanju’ movie where Ranbir played the character of Sanjay Dutt). By far for me, the most favourite performance of Ranbir is ‘Barfi!’.”

Ranbir and Alia have been grabbing the headlines for their alleged romance and tiffs. A few days back a video was doing the rounds where they seemed to have a tiff post the special screening of ‘Gully Boy’ (the film released on Valentine’s Day). Now clearing all the rumours, Alia has told Asian Age that she was ‘Valentining’ on Valentine’s Day. “Since I’ve been promoting ‘Gully Boy’, I had a late night and woke up late on Valentine’s Day. I was flooded with messages and greetings about our film along with some Valentine’s greetings and some marriage proposals from strangers as well,” added Alia.

When asked whether she had spent time with Ranbir or not, Alia said, “There was time for Ranbir also, don’t worry.”

Alia has been very supportive of Ranbir. She even paid visits to New York to be with him and his family when his father Rishi Kapoor was undergoing treatment. Reportedly, the couple might take their relationship to next level very soon.
