When Sara Ali Khan revealed that she once considered calling Kareena Kapoor ‘aunty’; father Saif Ali Khan’s reaction was epic

Saif Ali Khan got married to Kareena Kapoor when his daughter Sara Ali Khan was 17-years-old. And Sara has time and again shared that she shares a great bond with Kareena. Interestingly, Sara had once revealed that initially, she was confused as to how to address Kareena. Sara even wondered if she should call Kareena ‘aunty’. Read on to know how Saif reacted when Sara asked him if she should call Kareena ‘aunty’.

Two years back, Sara had made an appearance in the chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ with father Saif. On the show, both Saif and Sara cracked several jokes and showcased the kind of friendly bond that they share. Sara had also opened up on her equation with Saif’s second wife Kareena.

On the show, speaking about her Kareena, Sara had said, “I feel that everybody has been very clear with me, vis-a-vis the equations. It has never been confusing. Kareena herself says, ‘Look, you have a great mother. What I want is for us to be able to be friends.’ My father also never said, ‘This is your second mother’ or made it uncomfortable in any way.”

Host Karan Johar then asked Sara if Saif ever made her address Kareena as ‘Choti maa’. Sara first laughed and then said, “I think Kareena would have a nervous breakdown if I was to call her ‘chhoti maa’. She would be like, ‘What?! No!’”

It was then when Sara mentioned that initially, she was confused about how she should address Kareena. She even considered calling her aunty but Saif’s reaction to that was epic. Sara said, “I used to be like, ‘What should I call her? Kareena? Aunty?’ And my father was like, ‘You don’t want to call her aunty!’”. And that’s how Sara never addressed Kareena as aunty.

If in case you are wondering how Sara addresses Kareena, well she simply calls her ‘K’ or by her name. This family is really the coolest one in B-town. Don’t you guys agree?
