Sonam Kapoor is depicting the role of the brave-heart Neerja Bhanot in her upcoming biopic film titled ‘Neerja.’ In the year 1986 at the mere age of 23 this girl Neerja left an inspiration for the entire nation of India by showing her bravery to save the people from a hijack incident. With her career’s best role so far Sonam Kapoor is all set to surprise her fans with this film.

The film ‘Neerja’ is helmed by Ram Madhvani. The film also stars veteran Shabana Azmi playing the role of Rama Bhanot, mother of Neerja. Shekhar Ravjiani popularly known for composing music and singing as Vishal- Shekhar with his duo partner Vishal Dadlani is also making his debut as an actor playing an important role.

The film is slated to release next year on February 19, 2016.
