Madhur Bhandarkar heads to Sri Lanka

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar left for Colombo, Sri Lanka on Friday.

Bhandarkar took to micro-blogging website Twitter on Friday and wrote: “Weekend begins early as I find myself enroute to #Colombo! Going to be my first time in Sri Lanka! Always exciting to explore a new place! (sic)”

The director, who has worked with actresses like Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Tabu, has won the National Award for films like “Chandni Bar”, “Page 3” and “Traffic Signal”.
