As per latest BO reports, the Ranveer Singh-led espionage thriller has scaled another peak at the box office – this time overseas. According to these reports, the spy actioner has minted over $50 million in international markets despite not releasing in the Gulf belt and China. Dhurandhar The Revenge has become the seventh Indian film to mint over $50 million overseas despite not releasing in two major markets – China and the Middle East. According to trade insiders, the Ranveer Singh-led actioner is currently the third-highest-grossing Indian film of all time, with a gross collection of over Rs 1760 crore worldwide. Out of this, an impressive Rs 468+ crore (over $50 million) has been earned in the overseas markets.

While Dhurandhar 2’s income has been from across multiple markets (excluding Gulf and China), the top 4 highest grossing Indian films of all time have largely broke the bank in one particular market. For instance, Dangal, Secret Superstar, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan all earned big in China, while Disco Dancer was a blockbuster in the Soviet Union. Dhurandhar The Revenge Is Now Highest Grossing Indian Film In UK

While Dhurandhar 2 may be the 7th highest grossing Indian film overseas, it has now the highest grossing Indian in the UK. As reported by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Ranveer Singh spy action thriller has earned nearly £4.388 million in the United Kingdom till now. This massive collection has enabled it to pass the gross total of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan – £4.380 million, in the country.

This achievement is a symbolic and strategic shift in one of Hindi cinema’s most legacy-driven overseas markets. For the unversed, for the last two decades, the UK box office has largely remained a stronghold for the Khans.
