Gadar 2 Box Office: Sunny Deol’s film BEATS Yash starrer KGF 2, collects Rs 13.75 crore on Day 16

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 is winning hearts and how! The Anil Sharma directorial which released on 11th August, opened on a good note and is ruling the box office. The film is unstoppable. With each passing day, Sunny Deol’s film is breaking new records at the box office. Well, Gadar collected Rs 13.75 crore on day 16. The film’s total collection stands at Rs 439.95 crore. And with this, Gadar 2 has managed to beat Yash starrer KGF 2 at the domestic box office.

Given Gadar 2’s collections on day 16, it has now left KGF 2 behind. For the uninitiated, KGF 2’s collection is Rs 434.70 crore. Sunny’s film has taken the box office by storm and the numbers are proof of that.

Week 1: 284.63 crore

Week 2: 134:47 crore

Day 15: Rs 7.10 crore

Day 16: Rs 13.75 crore

Total: Rs 439.95 crore

Sunny reacts to Gadar 2 success

A few days ago, Sunny shared a video thanking fans for their love as Gadar 2 crossed Rs 400 crore mark. In the video, Sunny said, “Hello everyone, first and foremost, a big thank you to all of you. I never thought y’all will love Gadar so much. We have crossed Rs 400 crore mark. It was all possible because of you. You loved the film, Tara Singh, Sakina and the entire family. So, a big thank you.”

On the other hand, it’ll be interesting to see if Gadar 2 beats Baahubali: The Conclusion which stands at Rs 510.99 crore and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan’s collection which is Rs 543.05 crore.

Gadar 2 is a sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel have reprised their roles as Tara Singh and Sakina in the sequel. The sequel also stars Utkarsh Sharma. Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma, who also helmed Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.

On the other hand, Sunny is yet to announce his next project. A few days ago, it was reported that he is working on the sequel of Border. However, he later informed fans that there’s no truth in the reports. The actor further revealed that he is currently focusing on Gadar 2.
