Jawan worldwide box office: Shah Rukh Khan starrer BEATS Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar, collects Rs 883 crores globally

Jawan movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara is having its dream run at the box office. It’s been 12 days since it got released and yet the movie is minting moolah at the box office. Not just domestically, Jawan is doing phenomenal in the global markets as well. Just now, Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies official Instagram handle released the official figures of Jawan box office collections.  

Jawan collected Rs 883.68 on day 12 at the worldwide box office. With the latest trends, Shah Rukh Khan has now beaten Aamir Khan in the worldwide market. Well, Jawan box office collections have surpassed the collections of Secret Superstar which earned Rs 875.78 crores. Adding the latest numbers, Jawan has climbed to the number 4 position. In the top 5 highest grossers of all time globally, Dangal is leading the race followed by Pathaan.

Atlee desires to take Jawan to the Oscars

Director Atlee has expressed his desire to take Jawan to the Oscars. Yes, you read that right! In an interview with ETimes, Atlee said, “Of course, even Jawan should go, if everything falls in place. I think every effort, everybody, every director, every technician who is working in cinema, their eyes are on the Golden Globes, Oscars, National Award, every award. So, definitely, yeah, I would also love to take Jawan to the Oscars. Let’s see. I think Khan sir will watch and read this interview. I will also ask him over a call, ‘Sir, should we take this film to the Oscars?”

Directed by Atlee, Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara headline Jawan. Vijay Sethupathi is the antagonist whereas Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt are seen in special appearances. Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Lehar Khan, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Sunil Grover, and Ridhi Dogra have pivotal roles.
