Saiyaara, Mohit Suri’s latest venture — that witnessed the launch of actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has taken the internet by storm. The film, which opened to positive reviews, has impressed the audiences. In fact, the film has been working wonders at the box office and is now all set to enter the Rs 200 crore club soon.

As per recent reports, Saiyaara – which earned Rs 21 crore on its opening day, has amassed Rs 193.75 crore in 8 days. At this rate, the film is all set to enter the Rs 200 crore club by the end of the day — another record-smashing second weekend loading for Ahaan Panday & Aneet Padda.

Produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara had also registered an all-time highest opening weekend ever for a romantic film, turning Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda into overnight Gen Z stars. Generally, number of shows decline after week one, however, Saiyaara is seeing a rare trend at the box office. From 2225 screens in week one, the film is now running in 3800 screens.
About The Film
Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in lead roles. With an album comprising of 7 songs, the film follows Krish Kapoor – a troubled musician and the deep connection he forms with Krish Vaaani Batra – a shy poet. The film – produced by Yash Raj Films, is loosely based on the 2004 Korean film A Moment To Remember . Released on July 18, the film received postive reviews from critics and audience alike.
Giving the film a 3.5 star rating, Bollywodo Bubble wrote in its review, “Saiyaara is a moving romantic drama with its heart in the right place. It may not be flawless, but it makes up for its shortcomings with genuine emotion, touching performances, and unforgettable music. (It is) a tender tale of love and loss that lingers with you.”
