‘Sanam Re’ wins hearts on Valentine’s Day, collects 6.45 Cr

Divya Khosla Kumar’s latest directorial venture ‘Sanam Re’ has released worldwide on February 12, 2016, and since then the romantic saga has been winning hearts. Starring Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam & Urvashi Rautela in leads, ‘Sanam Re’ has succeeded to be the viewers’ pick this Valentine’s Day (Sunday, February 14).

This intense love story has bagged an amount of 6.45 Cr on Sunday. With this, the film’s total weekend collection remains 17.05 Cr. It has outranked Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’ starring Aditya Roy Kapur & Katrina Kaif. Three days after its release, Fitoor’s collection remains 13.11 Cr.

Having been shot across the country at places like Shimla, Kalpa, Ladakh and in Canada as well, ‘Sanam Re’ is a treat to our eyes with the majestically beautiful locations. Soulful music by Amaal Mallik, Jeet Ganguly and Mithoon has added to the charm while the peppy dance number by Epic Bhangra brings in a tinge of spice.
