Shehzada box office predictions: Kartik Aaryan starrer to have a slow start

Actor Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Shehzada has been released today, February 17. While some are absolutely enjoying this mass entertainer, there are some who are not in the favour of this movie. Seeing the mixed response from netizens, trade experts predicted the first-day collections of Shehzada at the box office. Going by the predictions, the movie will collect under Rs 10 crores only.

According to the trade experts, Shehdada will earn Rs 6 crores on day 1 at the box office. Though the predictions can change, we wonder if it will have a decent start in the domestic markets. Nevertheless, Kartik Aaryan’s movie will have an advantage as well as a disadvantage that might will have an effect on the movie. The plus point is that Maha Shivatri which is celebrated on February 18 will be a partial holiday that can help the film to gain more at the box office.

However, Shehzada will face tough competition from the Marvel movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania which was released on the same day as Kartik’s movie.

Bollywood Bubble gave 3.5 stars to the Rohit Dhawan directorial venture. A part of the review read, “Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada must be enjoyed to the fullest instead of comparing it with the original one or trying to find sense. Rohit Dhawan brings a fully out-and-out entertaining movie that offers all the emotions from laughter to action to joy. Apart from that, Kartik Aaryan is the heart of the film and demands attention.”

Shehzada starring Kartik Aaryan, and Kriti Sanon is directed by Rohit Dhawan. The movie also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar in pivotal roles. Shehzada is an official Hindi remake of Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
