EXCLUSIVE: Afnan Fazli Recalls Playing Football With Kartik Aaryan During Croatia Schedule; Says, “He Represents Hope For Outsiders Like Us”

For Afnan, the film was not just another project, but a journey filled with camaraderie, learning, and memorable moments on and off-screen.In conversation with Bollywood Bubble, he shared, “Being part of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri was truly an amazing experience. Working with Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday was a lot of fun, both on and off camera.”

Afnan recalls how the positive energy on set never faded, even after pack-up. “We’d often spend time together, chilling at the beach, playing music, dancing… it felt like one big happy unit. They’re both extremely humble, warm and easy to be around, which made the entire journey even more special.”

The Croatia schedule, in particular, holds a special place in his memories. Afnan fondly remembers bonding with Kartik over football, a sport deeply rooted in Croatian culture. “During the Croatia schedule, Kartik and I used to play football quite often. Football is huge in Croatia, and that became a great bonding point for us. We also shared many meals, which added to the camaraderie,” he says.

Sharing key scenes with Kartik Aaryan proved to be both enjoyable and inspiring. “Working closely with Kartik was fun and very inspiring,” Afnan notes. Beyond the camera, their conversations left a lasting impact on him. “We spoke a lot about his journey, especially how he made his breakthrough as an outsider. Hearing his story firsthand and the way he humbly shared his experiences and advice really stayed with me.”

For Afnan, Kartik’s journey stands as a symbol of hope. “He genuinely represents hope for outsiders like us that if you keep working hard and stay focused, dreams do come true. After hearing how much effort and perseverance he’s put into his career, he’s become a big inspiration for me. It motivated me to keep pushing forward and believe in the process even more.”
