Isha Koppikar Recalls Working With Shah Rukh Khan In Don Franchise

When asked about her working experience with Shah Rukh Khan in the Don franchise, Isha Koppikar revealed, “Aap jaise dikhte hain, waise hi hain. He is a—matlab women love him. Jaise films mein hain, bilkul waise hi real life mein bhi hain. Aapko aisa lagta hi nahi ki aapke saamne koi superstar baitha hai, khada hai, kaam kar raha hai. He’ll make you feel comfortable. Khud ka mazaak udaayenge, aapko hasaayenge. He’ll make you feel comfortable by making fun of himself.“

She added, “Jaise, ‘Arre, yeh aur Priyanka dance kar rahe hain, toh mujhe kyun bulaya? Mujhe kaun dekhega?’ Arre yaar, aise hi hota hai—log aapko hi dekhenge. Priyanka ko koi nahi dekhega! You know how it is—to make somebody comfortable. Very effortless in his acting, very effortless in his dance. Very suave. Classy—really classy. I mean, a man should be like him. He is a gentleman. He is my kind of man.”

Isha Koppikar Reveals She Approached Don 3 Makers

Speaking of who will lead Don 3 and if she has requested makers to bring back the OG cast, Isha said, “Mere paas Ritesh aur Farhan dono ke numbers hain. Main aapko de deti hoon. Bol dena—’Humein OG cast chahiye.’ Dekh lijiyega, aapki baat sunte hain kya? Meri toh nahi sun rahe. Waise maine abhi tak unse reach out nahi kiya hai. But see, any film ke directors aur makers ko pata hota hai unhe kya chahiye, kaun chahiye, aur kyun chahiye. Unke paas bhi numbers hote hain. Films ab business jaise ho gayi hain. So bolne ka koi khaas fayda nahi hota. Agar lenge toh great. Abhi, I don’t know who is there—Ranveer hai, Shah Rukh hai. Bahut speculation chal rahi hai around all this.”

About Don 3 Controversy

Don 3 remains in a state of transition as the highly anticipated Bollywood film continues development amid major casting changes. Reports suggest Shah Rukh Khan may return as Don following Ranveer Singh’s reported exit in late 2025, with SRK allegedly keen on director Atlee joining to elevate the film’s scale and action. Kiara Advani has also reportedly exited, with Kriti Sanon emerging as a possible replacement, though nothing is official. The antagonist role is being reworked after Vikrant Massey declined. Farhan Akhtar confirmed production will begin in 2026, with Excel Entertainment backing the film.
