Veteran actor Jackie Shroff is gearing up for his upcoming film The Great Grand Superhero: Aliens Ka Aagman, a sci-fi family fantasy that explores a heartfelt grandfather-grandson bond shaped by imagination and belief. Jackie Shroff Reflects On Films Like The Great Grand Superhero Face Box Office Pressure
Talking about whether box office pressure affects a film’s process or mindset, Jackie Shroff kept it honest and grounded. He said, “Nahi, nahi rehta hai kyunki hum log apna dil laga ke kaam karte hain. Phir sochna… itna sochna achha nahi lagta hai kyunki dil agar aise hua toh dil toot jaata hai. Itna mehnat karna itna thought ke baad toh 250 picture kar liya. Jaise exam mein agar fail ho gaye toh fail ho gaye ab kya karun? Koshish toh ki padhai ki sincere the, 8-12 hours kaam kiye dabaa ke kaam kiye.”
Director Manish Saini added context, highlighting how effort matters more than control over outcomes in filmmaking. He said, “Aap apna effort kar sakte ho kyunki aisa phir toh”
Jackie Shroff further stressed that success and failure are never fully in anyone’s control. He said, “Fir toh baba wo formula 44 toh kisi ke haath mein nahi hai.”
Manish Saini continued the thought, explaining how unpredictable audience response can be and how no studio can guarantee success every time. He said, “Yes, yes wo kisi ko nahi pata aisa koi studio nahi hai jisne hamesha saari hit di ho toh wo audience pe rehta hai toh aap zyada se zyada aap ek product ko leke honest ho sakte ho aur aap usme mehnat kar sakte ho bas baaki phir audience ke haath mein unko pasand aa raha hai toh end pasand aana na aana wo bhi bahut subjective hai kisi ko kuch pasand hai kisi ko kuch pasand hai toh humne ek effort kiya aur humko kahi na kahi yeh lag raha hai ki shayad yeh film sabko achhi lage, pasand aaye. utna hi kar sakte hain.”
