Krystle D’Souza has opened up about the pressure and strategy behind playing the original traitor on Traitors 2. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress revealed that the first few days were particularly hectic as she struggled to balance appearing innocent while secretly navigating her role as a traitor. With suspicion repeatedly falling on her during the “Circle of Shaq,” Krystle eventually decided to trust her instincts and play the game with confidence. Krystle D’Souza Reflects On Being The OG Traitor

When asked about being the original traitor on the show Traitors 2, Krystle D’Souza said, “I think starting ke 6 din bahut hectic the. You know, pehle toh you have to come into it ki main traitor kaise banu? Main innocent kaise lagoon? You know, main kuch ajeeb si harkat toh nahi kar rahi hoon? Baaki sab kya kar rahe hain, woh observe karna padta hai. Lekin jab I think third, fourth, fifth, sixth roz ‘Circle of Shaq’ mein mera hi naam, roz doubt mujh pe hi… After that, I was like, ‘You know what, ab jo ho jaaye, ho jaaye.’ I became confident. I became like, ‘I know what to do.'”

Krystle On The Eviction Letter

The actress explained, “Especially when the whole letter situation came up, aur maine woh poora letter bola. Kyunki mujhe, I don’t know why, ek hi baar letter mila tha. I think second day pe. Aur maine khola aur jab maine dekha ki this is gold, yeh innocents ko milta hai. So this can make me more innocent. Main baithi hoon wahan pe aur maine poora letter ratt maara, like that. Aur jab maine episode dekha aur dekha ki Shaneel ne bola, ‘Oh, aaj main apne ghar se safe hoon.’ Like, that was the difference.

Concluding, she said, “I used my brain at 100% capacity ki yeh out-of-the-syllabus trick question agar aaye, toh mujhe pata hona chahiye. So, you know, I became like woh machhli ki tarah flow pe, flow mein chali gayi, chali gayi, chali gayi. And somehow, I managed to feel innocent in the end and make everyone else also, after a point, vouch for my innocence. And I think that was my journey, from not knowing how to be a traitor, to being a traitor, to being absolutely innocent. So till today, I’m innocent.”

Krystle D’Souza and content creator Rida Tharana emerged as winners of Season 2 of The Traitors India. The finale took place at the historic Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, with host Karan Johar. The duo split the total prize money of Rs 66 lakh after outsmarting their fellow contestants
