Lataa Saberwal Breaks Silence On Announcing Separation From Sanjeev Seth

When asked about her announcing her separation from a decade-old marriage, Lata Saberwal said, “So, in very simple words, because I announced it, people thought that she had taken the decision. As I said, I’m a different kind of person; I’m bubbly, adventurous, I speak my mind, and I also know when to stay quiet. That is my personality. Since the announcement came from me, people felt that I was the one who had taken the decision. Whereas, in reality, it was a mutual decision, and for years we had already been living separately. It happened due to some reasons that I would not like to share. I simply had to announce it. That’s it, as simple as that.”

Lataa On Trolling & Media Support

Speaking of how she handled trolling, the veteran shared, “I’m very, very grateful to all the press members who personally messaged me saying, ‘We will never ask you any questions. Just take care of yourself.’ That made me feel that perhaps this is my real earning in life. Because I received personal messages from so many people saying, ‘We will never ask any questions, just take care of yourself.’ It was very emotional and touching. Most people responded in the same way. And that does not mean that I don’t respect the person with whom I have spent so many years. I will always respect him.”

About The Couple’s Separation

Lataa Sabharwal and Sanjeev Seth officially separated in 2025 after 15 years of marriage. Lataa announced the split on Instagram, expressing gratitude for their son and requesting privacy during this time. Sanjeev later shared that he is focusing on his work and moving forward.
