lehar khan, brahmastra, ranbir kapoor,

Brahmastra was one of the superhit movies in 2019 but it took many years to actually get released. With so much delay, it can make people a little anxious. Speaking about the same, actor Lehar Khan who was a part of Brahmastra recalled the time when the film was getting delayed. She was asked if the delay was making her anxious. However, Lehar revealed that she understood the delay and was very calm throughout the process.

Lehar Khan on Brahmastra delay

Talking to Bollywood Bubble, Lehar told us, “As a person, I am not a very anxious person in general. I’m a very calm person I stay positive usually. I feel when I’m doing something, I’m doing it with all my heart, so, I believe when it’s going to come out, it’s going to be fruitful because I did my job with 100% of my attention. I’m not a very anxious person, I was calm because I get it from my mother she’s also a very calm person. Definitely, there was a delay but I think I understood the delay very well because I was in contact with Ayan (Mukerji).

At times, we used to talk about it like ‘what is happening’. I could understand that there’s so much going on with the film. The VFX and everything was taking its own time. Then COVID-19 happened and for two years, it got pushed. Somewhere or the other, I feel I was never anxious about when it’s going to come. But at times, (I feel) a little low about it because I think the film was supposed to come out in 2019 and I just joined. You enter with that energy that ‘oh next year (Brahmastra) is going to release, it’s going to be a big thing for me.

I just entered college. All my friends in college were also like ‘Yay oh wow, you’re doing Brahmastra, it’s a big deal.’ Then I finished college and Brahmastra was still not out so everybody was like ‘when is it coming out?’ We were always very positive and sure that it’s going to be something very different that people have not seen in India, so that’s going to take its own time. I think I was quite okay with keeping that and I was taking updates from Ayan like ‘what’s up, where is it now, what is happening’. He would also sweetly send a message saying ‘this is going on with the film right now. Next month, we’ll be doing this and that’. I had an idea that’s why I was never anxious,” Lehar added.

Secondly, I always believe that as an outsider, since you don’t have somebody at home to tell you how it works. You will take your sweet little time to come where you have to be. I don’t take all of these experiences as, ‘Oh my God, why do I have to go through this, why am I not getting a chance today directly?’ I take it as these are like baby steps and I’m getting there and these are like the projects that are teaching me so that I become worthy of being in that spotlight one day. I am that kind of person so I’m not anxious at all,” Lehar Khan said about Brahmastra.

Lehar Khan on the cute gesture of Ranbir Kapoor

Lehar recalled, “Ranbir is also one of the most humble people I have ever met. He would remember things. If I had discussed something about my college, the next month he would come to me and ask ‘How was your exam, you told me last time you had an exam. So how did it go?’ I was like you don’t need to remember this, it’s okay, it’s just a way of conversation. But he would remember and it’s the little things that make you feel very comfortable. suddenly as an actor, it helps you on screen. over there I don’t feel that nervousness that I would probably feel in facing Amitabh sir or Ranbir or Shahrukh sir and I think that is something that they make it easy for you in the beginning itself.”
