EXCLUSIVE: Not Shah Rukh Khan, But ‘Animal’ Ranbir Kapoor Inspired Fahmaan Khan To Join The Industry; Says, “The Way He Can Talk With His Eyes…”

Fahmaan Khan has opened up about the performers who inspired him to pursue a career in acting, and unlike many aspiring actors who look up to Shah Rukh Khan, his admiration lies elsewhere. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Fahmaan revealed Ranbir Kapoor has been his biggest inspiration for years. The actor commended both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for consistently proving their talent despite facing criticism over their industry backgrounds. Fahmaan Khan Was Inspired By Ranbir Kapoor NOT Shah Rukh Khan To Join The Industry

When asked who his inspiration was to enter this industry, as most people come after being inspired by Shah Rukh Khan, Fahmaan Khan said, “As I came into the industry, I have idolised Ranbir Kapoor for a long time. Now, in this industry, I think the way he can talk with his eyes is something actors need to understand. It’s a beautiful journey of just knowing what to do with your eyes. And if you can crack that as an actor, then there’s nothing like it. He does it so well. I think I’ve taken a lot of inspiration from him. And honestly, I think that’s my biggest inspiration.”

He added, “After coming here, I’ve come to understand that, initially, the inspiration was his craft. The adrenaline rush I used to get when I was on stage or in front of a camera, just performing different characters—that was something special. I think both he and Alia Bhatt have proved themselves. There was always that “nepo kid” tag attached to them, but they have continuously improved their acting, which is very commendable. Even Alia, for that matter. Alia and Ranbir are two people I look to as individuals who come from the industry yet continue to prove themselves to be genuine actors. And I think Ranbir puts in a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes. You can clearly see that in his performances.”
