EXCLUSIVE: Parth Samthaan REVEALS the real reason behind quitting Kasautii Zindagii Kay

Parth Samthaan is one of the most loved and renowned faces in the television industry. He is widely known for his role as Anurag Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. This was the remake of one of the most popular shows in Indian television space which first aired in 2001. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Parth Samthaan opened up about the reason behind quitting the show.

When we asked about what’s the funniest rumour he has heard about himself, Parth was pretty confused as he said there were many. He suggested that we pick up a rumour for him and he would set the record straight. Asking whether Kasautii Zindagii Kay ended because of his attitude, he said, “No, it was not because of the attitude. Somehow I wanted the show to run but obviously, it was the channel’s call. But, I wanted to get into films and web space. That’s where I had to put my step down.”

The earlier show was very famous and Parth became a household name after playing the character of Anurag Basu. He was one of the most beloved characters. But, during Covid-19 the show went off air due to unfortunate circumstances of the pandemic. Later the actor called quits and soon after the show was announced to go off-air. That’s when speculations were raised that the makers called it off because of Parth.

Further in the interview, Parth got candid during the rapid-fire session and spilled secrets of his co-actors Niti Taylor, Erica Fernandez and Hina Khan. He also spoke about his worst date.
