Raksha Bandhan holds a special place in MTV Roadies and Splitsvilla winner Hamid Barkzi’s life, thanks to his close bond with his sister, Parisa Barkzi. A professional dancer, fashion and lifestyle content creator, Parisa is also the co-founder of wedding choreography and entertainment company Vows in Motion. She is married to choreographer and actor Sahaj Singh Chahal and currently lives in Mumbai with Hamid and her husband. Known for their fun sibling chemistry, Hamid and Parisa often collaborate on humorous reels and vlogs. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Hamid Barkzi said, “Raksha Bandhan is incredibly special to me because of the bond I share with my sister. We have always been extremely close; we work together, live together and are each other’s constant support system. She got married last November and moved to Mumbai. And today, the three of us, my sister, my jiju and I live together.”

He continued, “For me, she is like a motherly figure. Whether it’s a question about work or life, she is the first person I turn to for advice. And yes, she ties me a Rs 20 rakhi and takes a Rs 20,000 gift. But honestly – jokes apart, everything’s worth it as long as we have each other as siblings!”
