Shashank Khaitan Reveals Single Papa Coming On Netflix
Single Papa is a slice-of-life entertainer that explores the trials, tenderness, and tiny triumphs of single parenthood through a lens that’s both contemporary and emotionally grounded. Sharing a major update about the Netflix series, he said to Bollywood Bubble, “Single Papa is a show coming on Netflix. I’m the showrunner on the show, and I have directed a couple of episodes. There’s Neha Dhupia, there is Kunal Kemmu, and I don’t wanna give more names because let’s experience it when we really come up with the teaser trailer. I think it should be out soon. We’ve been chatting with Netflix to figure out the release date, so I’m hoping it’s coming really soon. Our work’s almost done in another 20 days, we should be delivering the shows to them.”
With its final leg of filming underway, Single Papa is shaping up to be one of the more anticipated OTT releases of the year. A mix of humour, heartache, and hope, this could very well be the feel-good series audiences didn’t know they needed.
On the work front, Shashank’s upcoming film as a director is Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Varun Dhawan, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, and Maniesh Paul, amongst a stellar cast.
