Sooraj Pancholi CLARIFIES Breakdown At Kesari Veer Event After Suniel Shetty Praised Him
Speaking of his breakdown during the Kesari Veer trailer launch after Suniel Shetty praised him, Sooraj Pancholi said, “You know, I wasn’t emotional at all—I was very confident. Everything was fine when it started, until Suniel sir had the mic in his hand and he compared me to Ahaan, his son. I think his saying something like that, of course, made me emotional. I’m a very emotional person. I’m a man of few words. If you speak to me, I’ll speak to you; otherwise, I usually keep to myself. So, of course, that moment… I mean, he didn’t have to say that, you know. But I think we—he and I—go way back. And whenever I’ve had difficulties in life, I’ve always called him, and he’s always been just one phone call away. It’s a memory I will never forget.”
Sooraj Pancholi Calls Suniel Shetty An Inspiration
When asked about Suniel Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi said, “I can’t believe he’s a grandfather—looking like that? Oh my God, he looks too good! He looks amazing. I mean, wow. I probably shouldn’t be saying this on camera, but wow. My entire PR team is made up of women, many of them closer to his age, and when he comes up in conversation, they don’t even blink—they’re just staring at him! And I’m like, ‘Guys, blink! Come on!’ But seriously, he’s an inspiration to everyone. He’s incredible, and still so strong. I shot an action sequence with him and thought, ‘Whoa, he’s actually really strong!’”
During the same interview, he was asked if he had met Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s daughter Evaraah, Pancholi said, “No, no, of course not—she just gave birth recently. I still can’t believe she has a baby! But she has a really good husband, a great partner. Honestly, he’s the kind of person I’d want my own sister to marry. She’s very blessed, and together they make such a strong, powerful couple. I think the baby is only going to make them even stronger. “
