EXCLUSIVE: Vishal Aditya Singh calls Bigg Boss 13 a ‘mistake’, says, ‘mujhe pasand nahi aaya’

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Visha Aditya Singh spoke about his Bigg Boss 13 journey and shares what happened during the show bothers him.

On doing soap opera after a while

Vishal is returning to soap opera space after a while. Talking about whether he has become choosy about projects, Vishal shared, “I have chosen my offers carefully. As an actor ek challenge bhi hai aur mazaa bhi different different character karne ka. Aaj tak maine television me koi bhi apna character repeat nahi kiya hai. (Yes, I have always been choosy about my offers. As an actor it’s challenging and fun to do different types of characters. I have never repeated any character in my life. Also I believe in trying hands on different things if I want to entertain my audience).”

Vishal Aditya Singh reveals if he regrets doing Bigg Boss

Vishal has been a part of Bigg Boss 13 and the reality show was a changer for him. He once said he regrets doing Bigg Boss for various reasons. When we asked Vishal if he still felt the same, he insisted, “It was not regretting, but my mistake. I was not ready for this show. Now, if I look back at my journey, I feel it would have been better if I had prepared for it and done more homework.”

He further added, “Nach Baliye ho ya Khatron ke Khiladi ho, mai har show se pehle homework ache se karta hu taki koi kami na reh jaye. Nach Baliye se pehle maine kabhi dance nahi kiya tha. Mai ghar pe rehearsels karta tha. Khatron Ke Khiladi me mujhe pata tha ki pani ke stunts hone wale hai. Aur being non-swimmer. Jo bhi possible way tha task karne ka, wo maine kiya (Before doing any show, I make sure to do my homework thoroughly so that I don’t lack. Whether it was Nach Baliye or Khatron Ke Khiladi, I knew that I have never done something like that. I had never danced so I used to do rehearsels at my home for 5-6 hours to gain stamina. During Khatron Ke Khiladi, despite being a non-swimmer I knew there will be a water-based stunt. But I kept faith and just did my best to complete the task).”

Vishal also said that what is between him and Madhurima bothers him. He said, “But Bigg Boss ke time, mere khud ke prepare karne ke liye mujhe waqt hi nahi mila, is cheez ka mujhe regret hai. It’s not about Bigg Boss kyuki wo mere life ka sabse bada show raha hai. Aur jis tarah se meri cheezein rahi waha pe, wo mujhe pasand nahi aayi aaj tak (But during Bigg Boss I did not get time to prepare, that is my regret. Bigg Boss has undoubtedly been the biggest show of my life. But I did not like what all happened with me there).”

Vishal answers who is his favourite contestant from Bigg Boss 17

Talking about Bigg Boss 17, Vishal hinted at supporting Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain. He shared, “Mai is baar ka season bilkul bhi follow nahi kar raha hu. Contestants me bhi mai kam logo ko janta hai. I think pura format badal diya hai show ka toh I am clueless. Par mai Ankita aur Vicky bhai ko janta hu, Munawar ka kaam dekha hai aur neil ko bhi janta hu mai kyuki unka kaam dekha hai. But personal level pe, I don’t know anyone apart from Ankita and Vicky. (To be honest, I am not following this season at all. And the other thing is, I know very few contestants this time. I am also clueless because the format of show has changed a bit. But I know Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain and Rinku Dhawan. I have seen Munawar Faruqui and Neil Bhatt’s work. But I do not know anyone apart from Ankita and Vicky personally).”
