This is the first time that Vivek Oberoi has played the role of an out-and-out police officer in a movie. The actor who has excelled in comedy and romance genres, is all set to impress the audience with his cop act this time. Talking about his role in the movie, he said, “I play a highly-decorated and tough cop, Amjad Khan, who busts a regular bank robbery. While Riteish Deshmukh’s character and the rest of the gang are pulling off the heist, you don’t know whether Amjad is a good cop or bad, there to save or nab them. That’s the parallel track that keeps unravelling and gives the comedy an edge and adventure.”

Plot with a twist

We've seen several movies around the theme of bank robbery, but what sets this one apart is how the makers have lent it a comic touch. Three robbers, Champak, Genda and Gulab attempt a bank robbery but choose the worst possible day for it. They get stuck really badly while carrying out the bank robbery and a cop Amjad Khan (Vivek Oberoi) chases them. So, it's going to be interesting to see a robbery gone wrong with a comic twist attached to it.

Baba Sehgal’s cameo and rap song

Rapper Baba Sehgal who was nowhere to be seen on the music circuit since some time now, makes a special appearance in the movie where he plays himself. In fact, he has also created the world's maddest rap song 'Bae, Baba Aur Bank Chor'. So, his fans are in for a treat in the movie.

The movie's promotional strategy has wowed us as standing true to their name, the 'Bank Chors' have been on a stealing spree as they have robbed many movie posters, trailers and created catchy tag-lines by photo-shopping the faces of Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi. Also, the production house didn't spare their previous movies like the 'Dhoom' franchise as they created an amazing spoof video wherein they spoofed themselves and their movie 'Bank Chor'.
