Hrithik Roshan is undoubtedly one of the most sought after actors in Bollywood. The actor has completed almost two decades in the film industry and rightfully enjoys a dedicated fan following. After ‘Kaabil’ (2017), the actor’s latest film ‘Super 30’ hit the silver screens today.

And much to his fan’s delight, it was only recently confirmed that Hrithik will be starring in megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic film ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake. Interestingly, Hrithik has already starred in the remake of Big B’s another hit film ‘Agneepath’. So we came to the conclusion that he does seem to be the perfect choice for stepping into Big B’s shoes when it comes to reviving his old films.

So here are five Amitabh Bachchan films in whose remake we would love to see Hrithik star in. Have a look:

‘Chupke Chupke’

Filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s films are a treasure for cinephiles. If ‘Chupke Chupke’ is ever remade, then we would love to see Hrithik take up Amitabh Bachchan’s role. And we are quite sure he won’t let us down. Big B played Dharmendra’s friend’s role in ‘Chupke Chupke’, so perhaps Saif Ali Khan or Farhan Akhtar can star with Hrithik in the remake. What do you guys think?

‘Silsila’

One of the best romances from the 80s, Yash Chopra’s ‘Silsila’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha and Jaya Bachchan is still so fresh in every movie buff’s mind. Now just imagine Hrithik romancing two gorgeous actresses in this poignant take on unconditional love and irrepressible desire. I suggest the remake should star Deepika Padukone and Ileana D’Cruz alongside Hrithik.

‘Abhimaan’

Aahh… Now, this is my other favourite film from Big B’s filmography. Imagine Hrithik and Vidya Balan recreating the magic of this classic film on the silver screen? It would be a treat to watch right? How I wish some filmmaker is reading this and maybe then, we actually get to see them share screen space for the first time.

‘Don’

Chandra Barot’s action-thriller ‘Don’ has already been remade and we even have a franchise created by Farhan Akhtar starring Shah Rukh Khan. But I would really love to see (and I am sure you all will agree with me) Hrithik star in the latest installment of this hit franchise.

‘Amar Akbar Anthony’

Action-comedy is a genre which has been explored very less in Bollywood. Manmohan Desai’s ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ remake can be the right film for our ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ trio Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol. Or perhaps Hrithik can collaborate with Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor for this remake. That would make for an interesting cast, wouldn’t it?
