Alia Bhatt:

Alia Bhatt got her cat, Edward Bhatt, as a birthday gift. Alia loves the white feline and Edward has a number of posts dedicated to him on Alia’s Instagram profile. Talking about Edward, Alia had said in an interview with Hindustan times, “I love to show him off. I’m super personal with my social media accounts, especially Instagram, so I love showing people how cute he is. I mean, look how cute! My friends say I’m a little crazy as at times I actually just sit and keep looking at him. But that’s because I love him so much. He’s my baby, and what’s wrong with being obsessed with your own baby?

It was Alia’s elder sister Shaheen who introduced them to cats. “Shaheen used to rescue stray cats from our building and around, and bring them home. We used to give them up for adoption. Sometimes, we kept them because we got so attached to them. So, I always had these little pets around me as a child,” Alia said in an interview with HT.

Jacqueline Fernandez, a true cat lover, often posts videos of her furry pet. Interestingly, she has two cats, one is Yoda and one is MiuMiu. Jacqueline is also a supporter of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

 

Richa Chadha:

Richa Chadha too loves cats and has has two of them, Jugni and Kamli. Richa is a part of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and other animal care foundations too.

Kalki Koechlin loves Dosa, here we are talking about here pet cat and not the South Indian food preparation. Kalki adopted a stray cat, actually rescued the cat from the streets when he was just a kitten.

 

Zareen Khan:

When Zareen had rescued her cat, Scooby Khan, he was badly malnourished on the streets. Zareen then got him treat at a veterinary hospital and saved the cat’s life. Zareen then went on and adopted the cat.
