Beats ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in terms of footfall

With 'Dangal' becoming the highest grosser of 2016, there's no denial that the audience has showered 'Dangal' with much love. So the footfall record in the theatres has been huge. 'Dangal' has broken 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan's record in terms of footfalls. In two weeks 'Dangal' registered 3,08,37,000 footfalls while 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' had 3,01,26,000.

Beats ‘PK’ in Australia

In Australia, 'Dangal' collected Au$2,300,000 in 15 days while, 'PK' had collected.

Beats ‘PK’ in Canada

Even in the overseas market, 'Dangal' has been breaking records. In Canada, this Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra-starrer accumulated $11,200,000 in 18 days. In the same time period, 'PK' had collected $10,617,000.

Beats ‘PK’ in Tamil Nadu/Kerala

Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' did entice people in Tamil Nadu and Kerala and the box office collection of this film in those cities lies at Rs 11.72 crore nett, while 'PK' was just Rs 9.46 crore nett.

Beats ‘PK’ in Mysore

The total collection of Aamir Khan's 'PK' of 18 days in Mysore was Rs 23.85 crore nett. 'Dangal' made a record by collecting Rs 24.97 crore nett.

Beats ‘PK’ in Central India

Statistics say that 'PK' had collected Rs 12.59 crore nett in 18 days in Central India, while 'Dangal' broke this record by collecting Rs 12.79 crore nett in 18 days.

Beat ‘Sultan’ in Rajasthan

Both the films were about wrestlers and both the films were high on performance. But 'Dangal' won with a thin margin. In Rajasthan, 'Dangal' minted Rs 19.01 crore nett in 18 days while 'Sultan' had collected RS 18.99 crore nett.

Beats ‘PK’ in East Punjab

Both are Aamir Khan's films and both have worked wonders at the box office. But 'Dangal' has managed to race ahead of 'PK' in East Punjab. 'Dangal' has collected Rs 40.66 crore nett while 'PK' had collected Rs 33.44 crore nett.

Beats ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in Delhi/UP

In 18 days, 'Dangal' has managed to collect Rs 71.23 crore nett while Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' was able to collect Rs 70.60 crore.

Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ seems to be on a record breaking spree. The film that released on December 23, 2016 is still running strong at the box office despite being in its third week. Now, either it could the stellar performances of stars that is attracting audience to the theatres or it could be the zero competition for the film. Whatever it is, ‘Dangal’ has marched on the path of victory and is roaring high all over the globe. Not only in the domestic market,even the overseas market is revelling in ‘Dangal’s triumph.
