1. Ranveer Singh as Jayeshbhai Jordaar: Ranveer knows how to mould himself into a character, be it Khilji or Kapil Dev. Ranveer as Jayeshbhai is absolutely Jordaar in the trailer. You really feel for this character and can understand his dilemma which involves his wife. From his quirky hairstyle, on-point expressions to his Haryanvi dialect, Ranveer aced in every department.

2. Shalini Pandey’s debut: The Arjun Reddy star is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with Jayeshbhai Jordaar and must say, she looks quite promising. Other than just playing the wife of Jayeshbhai, she actually adds more value to this film. We are really looking forward to seeing her in the movie.

3. Social message: Nowadays, films with strong social messages are doing wonders among people. This film is a story about female infanticide that is still being practised in some parts of the country. But the best part is that the film whose theme is a social message is beautifully packed with hysteria. This will surely touch many.

4. Jayeshbhai’s support for his wife: There are very few men who will accept that it is their fault for not being able to give a boy. When he got to know that his second child is going to be a girl, he immediately fled away with his pregnant wife before his parents take an unfortunate action. In one scene, Shalini’s character requests her husband to marry another girl who can give him a baby boy. Jayeshbhai furiously refuses the idea and mentions that it is in a man’s hand if he can give a boy or girl. Now Jayeshbhai kind of husband we all want in real life. In the trailer, when women come to him and praise his bravery, we were already impressed with the film.

5. Jayeshbhai Vs parents’ regressive thinking or problematic world: It is always a task to actually fight with parents’ regressive thinking or with the problematic society. No wonder why Jayeshbhai is Jordaar in the film. The part when he threatens his father to castrate himself only proves that he can go to any extent to change the world and their thinking. This also shows his love towards his wife or the woman’s race.
