Prabhas, whose full name is, Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju is celebrating his 42nd birthday today. Social media is full of messages and notes for the actor on his birthday. His birthday is celebrated as a festival by his fans across the world. Hashtags like #HappyBirthdayDarling and #HappyBirthdayPrabhas are already trending on the internet.

Prabhas, who is one of the highest-paid actors of Indian cinema right now, made his acting debut with the 2002 Telugu drama Eeswar, however, he got a big break with the romantic action film Varsham (2004). He became a household name after featuring in the titular role in S. S. Rajamouli’s epic action film Baahubali. The actor has a slew of films at different stages of production. And on the occasion of Prabhas’ birthday, we have compiled his highly awaited upcoming movies.

1. Radhe Shyam
Radhe Shyam is an epic period romance drama and it is written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. The film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages and is produced by UV Creations and T-Series. The movie was shot in Hyderabad, Italy and Georgia. It is all set to release on 14 January 2022, coinciding with the festival of Sankranthi. It will clash with Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

2. Salaar
Salaar is an action thriller film and it is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. Prabhas will be seen sharing screen space with Shruti Haasan. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films and was simultaneously shot in Kannada and Telugu languages. It will also be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. The music is composed by Ravi Basrur while cinematography is handled by Bhuvan Gowda. The movie is all set to release on 14 April 2022.

3. Adipurush
Adipurush, starring Saif Ali Khan, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, is one of the most awaited movies. Kriti will be seen as Janaki in the film while Saif stars as Lankesh and Prabhas as Adipurush. The film is directed by Om Raut and is produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles. The drama is being made in both Telugu and Hindi and will release on August 11, 2022.

4. Project K
One of the most anticipated films in the pipeline is Project K with director Nag Ashwin. The movie also features Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. The untitled movie is a sci-fi film. Soon, the makers will share an update.

5. Spirit
His 25th film Spirit was announced on 7 October 2021. It will be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Arjun Reddy fame and will be produced jointly by UV Creations, T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures. More details are awaited of the movie which will be produced on a massive scale.
