Samantha Ruth Prabhu: Samantha is one of the highest-paid actors in the South Indian film industry. She has given many hits in her career. During an Instagram AMA session, Samantha had revealed that her first salary was Rs 500. She had revealed, “My first income was 500 rupees for an eight-hour day as a hostess in a hotel for a conference… I was in 10^th standard or 11^th standard.”

Dulquer Salmaan: Dulquer is one of the successful actors down South. In a recent interview with Curly Tales, Dulquer revealed, “I was 10 years old. This has nothing to do with my dad, this is not some nepotism advantage. I was randomly picked by Mr Rajiv Menon’s ad agency. They came to my school to pick kids for a TVC and I was one of those who got picked. They gave me Rs 2,000 for that.”

Suriya: Suriya’s first job was with a garment exports factory. In an interview with Hindu, Suriya had shared, “My first month’s salary was Rs 736, which I received after working 18 hours every day.”

Allu Arjun: Arjun Arjun is one of the top actors in the industry. Today, he charges in crores for a film. Reportedly, Allu Arjun worked as an animator and a designer before becoming an actor. If reports are to be believed, his first salary was Rs 3,500.
