The direction!

Ravi Jadhav is the mastermind behind this film and well, this man has some amazing Marathi films to his credit. He is the one who made films like ‘Balak Palak’, ‘Timepass’ and ‘Natarang’. He has also won a National award for his direction in the category of best feature film in Marathi. So, of course now that he is extended his arena to Bollywood, it would e interesting to see, how he blends his kind of direction to that of Bollywood.

The Unusual plot!

‘Banjo’ directed by Ravi Jadhav has a very interesting concept. It revolves around the group of ‘Banjo’ players who are extremely talented, but are looked down upon just because they are ‘Banjo’ players. It highlights the very fact that it’s not the talent that defines the amount of respect you get, but the profession that you chose.

Some real talent!

As the concept revolves around Banjo players in the film, we are expecting to look forward to some real talent of the musicians. Music has to be good and well, with the few songs that we have seen so far, it looks like ‘Banjo’ will get us high on music!

Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri’s pairing!

Nargis and Riteish have worked together in ‘Housefull’, but it would be for the first time that they have been paired opposite each other. So die-hard Mumbaikar porga romancing a firang lady in his tapori style is all what we are looking out for in ‘Banjo’. Plus, by whatever glimpse we have received so far of the film, we see that Nargis also turns into a Marathi Mulgi and does lavani dance. It will be interesting to see their pairing!

Riteish Deshmukh is known for being desi by heart. He is one man who we can call a true Mumbaikar, by heart, soul, dialect, looks and every other thing. And well, in ‘Banjo’ we are going see him in his full Mumbaikar style. He will play a role of a Banjo player from the slums of Mumbai and well, as always, he has excelled in it.
