Sharvari Wagh is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with YRF’s Bunty Aur Babli. She will be seen as the new Babli and is starring opposite Gully Boy fame Siddhant Chaturvedi. The actress is sharing screen space with superstars Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan. Recently, she shared how super excited for her first movie.

The Bunty Aur Babli 2 actress said, “I was honoured that YRF could see me as the new Babli in the film. Babli is an iconic character in the history of Indian cinema, thanks to Rani ma’am’s incredible work in the first film. I’m a big fan of her and I hope that I have done justice to the role. Since my character is based in today’s times, I have tried to play it in my own way and I only hope that Rani ma’am and the audiences will love my effort. This is my big-screen debut and I have given it my all. I can’t wait to see all the responses that my performance will evoke. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.”

11. Her father is a builder and her mother and sister are architects. In an interview, she revealed that she was aspiring to be a civil engineer. She said, ” I was a science student and during 11th standard when this contest called ‘Fresh Face’ happened. I ended up winning that. I didn’t even know what this competition was about — for me it was a choice between attending a three-hour chemistry lecture versus dancing in front of an audience. It was a no-brainer! (Laughs) The winner got to be in an ad and once I did that, I was hooked.”

In an interview with Pinkvilla she said that she gave her first audition in 2014. “I feel everyone faces their own struggles in this line, but yes, for me to get work was definitely a big, big struggle. It also teaches you a lot though. It teaches you so much along these 5-6 years that I’ve spent struggling. So, yeah, the main struggle is to get work. After that, you have to prove your own mettle by performing.”
