To have a place you can call ‘Home’ is a whole different feeling in all. There are many who dream to have a place of their own, not only a roof or shelter, but something that they can settle in, start a family, or simply a humble abode where you can come back to after a busy day at work. Every year, there are a few Bollywood celebs who often purchase new homes. Even this year, in 2021, some Bollywood celebs treated themselves with a space they can call home, and bought expensive new homes.

From newlyweds Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, Jacqueline Fernadez, brother-sister duo Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor to several others; here are the Bollywood celebs who bought new homes in 2021.

Amitabh Bachchan

The superstar reportedly bought a 5,184 sq ft property in Mumbai for a whopping Rs 31 crore. According to a document accessed by Zapkey.com, the property is a sprawling duplex on the 27th and 28th floors that provides him access to six mechanized car parks. The property was registered in April 2021.

Ajay Devgn

The Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior actor purchased a Rs 60 crore worth property at the end of 2020. It is a brand new 590 square-yards bungalow in Juhu, which is close to his current residence ‘Shakti’.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal

The newlyweds tied the knot on December 9 and shifted to their newly bought house in Mumbai. Katrina and Vicky are the neighbors of celebrity couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. According to a report in India Today, they purchased a swanky apartment in Rajmahal apartments, Juhu. It was on Christmas 2021 that the couple gave a peek into their new home. They shared a cutesy picture together.

Arjun Kapoor

The Bhoot Police bought a four-bedroom-sky villa in Bandra, close to the residence of his ladylove, Malaika Arora. As per a Bollywood Hungama report, Arjun owns a sea-facing property at the 26 storey-tall 81 Aureate and has paid Rs 20 to Rs 23 crore.

Jacqueline Fernandez

The Kick 2 actress shifted to her new home, an apartment previously owned by Priyanka Chopra. Jacqueline bought the condo at Rs 7 crore. Earlier, she had rented the apartment and was living in the five-bedroom property since 2016. According to an ETimes report, Fernandez has finalized a bungalow property reportedly worth Rs 175 crore.

Janhvi Kapoor

The Roohi actress bought a new home in Juhu in the Arya building. Her apartment is apparently on the 14th, 15th and 16th floors and the property is worth Rs 39 crores. Reportedly, Janhvi applied for a Rs 23 crores home loan and has paid stamp duty of about Rs 78 lakhs.

Sonakshi Sinha

The Double XL actress made it to the headlines in July 2021 for her new purchase. She bought a 4 BHK in Bandra. While speaking with the media, Sinha said, “Ever since I started working, it was my dream to buy my own house with my hard-earned money, before I turned 30.”
